Henk Willigendael, born in 1947 in the Netherlands, studied Art and Design at Jan Van Eijck Academy in Maastricht. He has served as Adviser to the Ministry of Culture in The Hague, as President of the Visual Artist (BBK) Union, a member of multiple Arts councils in the Netherlands, as well as a former Professor of Visual Arts in Utrecht, the Nederlands. Currently working in Utrecht, he has exhibited throughout the Netherlands, as well as in London, UK and Paris, France
